We're back!

Time just flew by but we packed so much into those five days! Of course it helped to have an itinerary all laid out for us :-) but we also visited some places that I don't think even my traveled sister knows about! We went to the Louvre, Jardin the Tullieres, Jardin des Plantes, Mosque de Paris, Institute Arab, Pompidou Centre, Eiffel Tower, Tokio Centre, Jardin du Palais and lots of boat trips up and down the Seine (we bought a 2-day pass). The hotel Normandy turned out not to be so bad, except that most of the lit sign above the entrance had lost its bulbs so it read OTEL NORM ;-). It was generally in great need of a good makeover but it was clean, it was literally 5 minutes from the Louvre and the breakfast was fabulous! Paris is a wonderful city, so clean and full of exciting places to visit. How about we all move to France...???
